The picture that emerges of prominent climate-change scientists from the more than 3,000 documents and emails accessed by hackers and put on the Internet this week is one of professional backbiting and questionable scientific practices. It could undermine the idea that the science of man-made global warming is entirely settled just weeks before a crucial climate-change summit.That this is not front page news is telling isn't it? This could be one of the major scandals of the 21st century, yet I saw nothing about it on TV yesterday. I have always been in the middle on the climate change discussion. While it could be a bad thing for humans I do not necessarily think we are completely to blame- nor do I think there is much we can do. Trying to control nature on such a macro scale seems folly to me. However, the complete and outright dishonesty of these scientists is a bit overwhelming.
Some more interesting facts from the hacked emails. One of the emails says [emphasis mine]:

Since when do actual facts matter? One only needs to look at the hypocrisy of Al Gore to know that he is a liar and his agenda is a fake. But libs know how to push the emotional buttons on other libs so that their brain function shuts down.
